What's in a Name?

Walters is named after Washington Senators' pitcher Walter Perry Johnson

Walter brought the District of Columbia a World Series title in 1924 and established several pitching records, some of which remain unbroken nine decades after retiring from baseball! He remains by far the all-time career leader in shutouts with 110, 2nd second in wins with 417, and 4th in complete games with 531.
